Montclair tickets are on sale in the Charms Store! Per North Jersey Band Festival policy, each band member MUST sell at least TWO tickets. Ask your family, friends, teachers, etc.... Bergenfield always sells the most tickets in the festival!!! If you sell at least 6 tickets, your Olive Garden meal after Montclair is free.
Tickets are $10 from band members, but $15 at the gate AND we don't get credit. Buy tickets in advance through Charms. All online sales should be completed by Friday evening for distribution on Saturday.

Schedule for Week of October 24:
Monday, October 24 - Rehearsal at RWB
Regular rehearsal from 6:30 to 9:00pm. Report directly to RWB auditorium. We will review tapes and video in RWB auditorium first and then rehearse on the field.
Tuesday, October 25 - Montclair Poster hanging
Seniors (and baritone section representative(s)) hang posters in the Band Room.
Wednesday, October 26 - Rehearsal
Rehearsal from 3:15pm to 6pm at BHS. We will work in sectionals on America, the Beautiful, learn America, the Beautiful set, line up for Senior Recognition, and rehearse the field show.

Saturday, October 29 -Band Breakfast, Senior Recognition, and Home Football Game vs. Ridgefield Park HS
Report time is 7:45am to auditorium in 2016 band t-shirts and rehearsal attire. Do not arrive in band uniform. We will have our annual band breakfast in the front cafeteria, then rehearse until the lunch break.
We will rehearse field show, Montclair procedures, and review senior recognition. Lunch break is at 11:15am.
Return at 12:30pm in full uniform to pre-game twos. We will enter the field at 12:45pm for senior recognition activities for football and cheering.
Parents/guardians/family members of guardians should meet at the flag pole at the east end of the field at the start of the second quarter and line-up alphabetically. After our field entrance, seniors will line up alphabetically while underclassmen go to page 1. We will recognize seniors, then perform our field show.
Estimated dismissal time is 4pm. Seniors remain to decorate Band Room for Montclair.
Sunday, October 30 -70th Annual North Jersey Band Festival at Montclair State University
Report time is 12:00pm to main field in full uniform for warm-up and run-thru. Feel free to bring a bag lunch and snack.
Following the run-thru, we will head into the band room for pre-Montclair festivities, which must conclude by 2:45pm. Our departure time for Montclair is 3:00pm sharp.
Upon arrival at MSU, we will report to the trailer for instruments, then line up and enter the stadium in pre-game twos. We are seated on the back sideline this year. Sandwiches will be distributed. We perform 13th out of 17 bands at approximately 7pm. The estimated conclusion of the festival is 8:30pm.
Following the festival, we will load and depart for the Olive Garden. This is a private event closed to the general public. Following dinner, I will send out a Remind text with the estimated pick-up time at BHS. We will return to BHS, meet briefly in the Band Room, and then dismiss. This is generally a late night, so be sure to complete all assignments, inform your family of the late arrival time, and be in school ON TIME on Monday morning. Eating after Montclair is a privilege we have had for many years. Don't ruin the tradition by being irresponsible. If anyone has any questions, please email me.
Monday, October 31 - Post Montclair Lunch Meeting
Happy Halloween! We will meet in the auditorium during lunch to review the Montclair tapes and video and enjoy treats. Please bring or pre-order lunch so we can begin immediately at 11:40am. Be neat in the auditorium.
Monday night rehearsal is cancelled for this evening. Remember that band uniforms are NOT Halloween costumes. Anyone wearing a band uniform, except at an official band function, will be strongly disciplined.
