Thank you to the members of the Bergenfield High School Marching Band and their families for such an outstanding season!! Enjoy your Thanksgiving Day!
Highlights of our performance at the North Jersey Band Festival at Montclair State University will be shown on MSG Varsity on Thanksgiving Day at 5pm. Tune in or DVR the show!
Also, three members of our band will be performing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Macy's Great American Marching Band. Tune in on Thanksgiving Day to see Lindsay Philpott, Annalisa Podwin, and Alexis Toledo dance with the band.

Consolation Home Football Game vs. Teaneck - Saturday, 11/12/11
Report time will be 10:00am. We will warmup, rehearse and run-thru the show outside until 11:15am. Lunch break will be held from 11:15am to 12:15pm. Report to the band room in full uniform at 12:15pm for 1pm kickoff. Senior recognition will be held at halftime.
This will be the last football game and field show performance of the 2011 season.

Our Fall Concert, featuring an indoor performance of "The Sound of Music" show in the auditorium will be held on Tuesday evening, November 22. The entire marching band will participate. The Senior Recognition ceremony will be held this evening.

Away Football Game at Passaic Valley - 11/5/11
Report time will be 12:00pm in full uniform. We will meet outside on the side field in the attendance block. Please eat before you arrive, except students taking SATs who may eat on the bus. The game time is 2:00pm. We will perform first at halftime at approximately 3pm.
Our anticipated return time is 6:00pm. We will meet in the band room after the performance to distribute forms for two upcoming events.
SAT Students ONLY:
We will delay our departure until 15 minutes after the SATs at Bergenfield finish. Please get changed into your uniform immediately after you are dismissed from the test and report to the buses. In the event the SATs are delayed beyond 12:30pm, we will leave one bus behind for late test-takers.

Please be reminded that there will be a football game on the weekend of Friday, 11/11 or Saturday, 11/12. The date, time and location of this game will be announced on Monday, 11/7 at 3pm. Your attendance is expected and is mandatory.
Depending on the outcome of the final games, we may have football playoff games on the weekends of 11/18 or 11/19 and 12/2 or 12/3.
Lastly, our Fall Concert, featuring an indoor performance of "The Sound of Music" show in the auditorium will be held on Tuesday evening, November 22. The entire marching band will participate. The Senior Recognition ceremony will be held this evening.

UPDATE!!!! 10/31/11 at 11:30pm
The Bergenfield High School Marching Band WILL perform at the Bergenfield vs. Tenafly football game, which is now rescheduled for Tuesday, November 1 at 4pm.
The game will be played at Overpeck Field in Palisades Park, NJ due to the field conditions at BHS.
Please report to BHS at 2pm on Tuesday 11/1/11 in full marching band uniform. We WILL be able to enter the school to get instruments.
We will travel to the game by bus. Dress warmly. You may bring a snacks/drinks as there will be no snack stand available.
Our anticipated return time to BHS will be 7:30pm.
The official senior recognition ceremony will be postponed until the Fall Concert on 11/22.

We will meet for the band breakfast at 9:00am regardless of the weather. A decision will be made around 10am whether or not we will play the game or postpone. If the game is postponed, it will be played either Sunday at 1pm or Monday after school. Please make sure to have your full uniform AND black pants (street clothes) and warm sweatshirts/jackets ready for tomorrow

This week, we will have Marching Band rehearsals during period 5 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We will meet in concert bands on Tuesday and Thursday. There is no Priority Rehearsal scheduled for this Wednesday. Enjoy the afternoon to catch up on work/rest.
