We will be rehearsing as concert bands this week, with the exception of one Period 5 marching band day on Thursday or Friday (weather permitting).

Report time is 9:00am in uniform pants and 2010 Band T-shirt. Bring cases to the side field.

Run-throughs and field exit - 9:20am to 9:50am

Pack truck - 9:50am to 10:00am

Band Breakfast in front cafeteria - 10:00am to 11:30am

Load buses and depart for Tenafly - 11:50am

Arrive at Tenafly and set up for performance - 12:00pm

We will perform pre-game at 12:40pm .  Following the performance, we will return to the stands for the remainder of the game.  You may bring a bag lunch into the stands or purchase food from the snack stand during the third quarter.

PLEASE NOTE: The BHS Class of '60 will be in attendance for their 50th reunion.  They are very excited to see the show and how the program is thriving.

Report time is 9:45am.  

Any remaining Montclair ticket sales will occur before 10am and at lunch break, not during the rehearsal times below.

We will perform at halftime.  Following the performance, we will turn and troops the stands (a la Wayne Hills festival).

All instruments must be packed up in cases and ready to be loaded on the truck before leaving school at the end of the post-performance meeting.

Report time is 1:00pm.  You should wear your band t-shirt and band pants.  Your dress underneath your uniform should be appropriate for the weather.  The forecasted temperature around festival time is in the comfortable low 60's, so wear layers that can be removed, if necessary.

You may bring food into the stands at Montclair, however a small sandwich (turkey, ham, or cheese) and a bottle of water will be provided.

Your instrument should be loaded on the equipment truck BEFORE entering the band room.

Make absolutely sure your shoes are polished when you arrive.

After the meeting, we will load the buses and depart for Montclair.  We are on 14th out of 18 bands.  Our anticipated performance time is 7:15pm.

After the performance, we will load the buses and go to Charlie Brown's for food.  

Please bring $15 cash (exact change ONLY). Please advise any friends and family that the restaurant will be closed to the public.

Our expected arrival back at BHS is 11:00pm.  You have a responsibility to be in school ON TIME on Monday morning.  Celebrating our performance is a privilege that we wish to continue for future band members.  Plan you homework accordingly and dress, eat and rest for health.

Report time is 5:00pm in jeans and sneakers.  We will perform in street clothes and ponchos due to the forecasted weather.  Be sure to layer clothing underneath as the weather will be cold.

Eat something prior to arrival, or bring a bag dinner to eat on the bus.

Pit should arrive at 4:30pm to load the truck.

We will be performing at halftime.  Due to weather conditions and sports conflicts, we may perform our show from the stands.

Report time is 12:30pm.  Please eat lunch before arriving.  Wear your band t-shirt.  Bring your uniform in its garment bag and hang it in the uniform room when you arrive.  Bring your case to the field.

Sectional rehearsals - 12:30pm to 1:30pm on the side field

Upon arrival at Wayne Hills, we will head into the stadium to watch the first half of the show.  You will be sent by row to the snack stand to get dinner, or you may bring a bag dinner.  After the first half of the show, we will return to our buses to warmup for the performance.  Our performance time is 9:45pm.  After the awards ceremony at 10:15pm, we will load the buses and trucks and return to BHS around 11:30pm.

Full ensemble warm-up/rehearsal begins at 1:15pm SHARP on the side field.

Rehearsal will last until around 2:00pm.

At 2:10pm, we will line up in pre-game twos with the Eighth Grade Band co-mingled.

The combined Eighth Grade and BHS Marching Bands will perform pre-game.

The kick-off time is 2:30pm.  Following the game, we will meet in the band room and then be dismissed.

Report time is 12:00pm in band pants and band t-shirts.  Jackets and busbies should be stored in your hall locker until later.  

At 12:15pm we will march to the stands to watch the first half of our show.  After the first half, we will do a marching warm-up on the lower field.  After the marching warm-up, we will march to the band room, dress in full uniform and form our warm-up arcs in the front of the school.  

Following the music warm-up, we will line up in our march-on formation, march to the field and perform at 4:20PM.

Following the awards ceremony, we will meet in the band room and then be dismissed.

Pyware PPT Assignment #3 (Who Loves You) is due today.  Please be sure to click "Leader Board" after you complete a run-thru in Compete Mode.  This is a graded assignment.

Priority Rehearsal from 3:15 to 6:00PM.  The plan is to focus on Part Three.  Please be prepared and on time.  Bring water jugs, sunscreen, etc.  It is supposed to be mild and sunny.

Full ensemble rehearsal begins at 11:45am SHARP.

Please eat your lunch prior to arrival.  There will be no lunch break.  

Rehearsal will last until around 3:30pm.

Students must be in the band room, fully dressed and ready to load buses for New Meadowlands Stadium at 4:00pm.

Students should wear their band t-shirt, bring a sweatshirt or jacket, and bring a snack and bag dinner, or ample money for dinner at the excellent new concession stands at the stadium.  

Students may also wish to bring money for souvenirs.  

Please note that any personal backpacks/bags brought into the stadium must be 12"x12"x12" maximum.  Anything larger must be left on the bus.

Upon arrival at the stadium, we will head to our seats to watch a few bands and eat dinner.

At approximately 7:45pm, we will return to our buses, get our instruments and begin our preparations. Our performance time is 10:20pm.  The awards ceremony immediately follows our performance.  We will then return to our buses, load and depart for BHS.

Our estimated return to BHS is 12:00am. Please plan accordingly. This is a very long day.  Please be well rested, hydrated, and fed.

Tickets for the Yamaha Cup show for friends and family are available for $20 by submitting the form that was sent home on Monday.  Tickets are also available at the gate at $25.
