The annual Elementary School Performance/Veteran's Day Ceremony will be held on Friday 11/4.  You will be excused from classes to perform for this event.  You will need your uniform in school that day.

Depending on the outcome of the final games, we may have football playoff games on the weekends of 11/18 or 11/19 and 12/2 or 12/3.

Lastly, our Fall Concert, featuring an indoor performance of "The Sound of Music" show in the auditorium will be held on Tuesday evening, November 22.  The entire marching band will participate.

Saturday, October 15

Detailed information and schedule (Homecoming/State Festival):

• Report time is 9:00AM SHARP.  We will practice until 11:15AM.
• Lunch break will be from 11:15AM to 12:15PM.  Please consider staying in the side cafeteria to eat lunch with the Eighth Grade Band members.
• Report to the band room at 12:15PM SHARP in full uniform.  Wear your 2011 band t-shirt underneath.  Line up for pregame will be 12:30pm SHARP.
• We will play pre-game and halftime from the field.  The RWB Eighth Grade Band and the Alumni Band will join us for pre-game.
• Following the game, we will go into the school, pack our instruments in cases, load the trailer and depart for NJ State Band Festival at Wayne Hills HS.  You may wish to add additional layers of clothing at this time.
• You must bring everything you need for the weekend with you.  The school will be LOCKED upon your return from the festival.
• You may bring a bag dinner, however food will be available at the snack stand at Wayne Hills immediately upon arrival.
• We will watch the first half of the festival, then go to warm-up.
• Our performance time is 9:45PM.  Please encourage your parents to attend!!
• Our anticipated return time to BHS is 11:30PM.  Once again, the school will be LOCKED upon our return.  I do not have the keys to the school, so don't ask!!
  
  Note to Heather Martin - Your sister says to bring your band director a large pumpkin iced coffee with skim milk, no sugar.  Otherwise, she will play your duet at the game.
