Schedule for Week of 9/10 to 9/15
Wednesday, 9/12 - Priority rehearsal (3:15pm to 6pm)
BHS Parents' Night/Open House is this evening at 7pm.
Friday, 9/14 - Football Game vs. Ramapo (AWAY) - Pep Band ONLY
(Pep Band is most seniors and select underclassmen, who have been notified of their participation)
3:00pm - ALL Marching Band members must load their instruments on band trailer for West Point
5:30pm - Pep Band reports to Band Room in full uniform
5:45pm - Depart for Ramapo HS for 7pm game
10:00pm - Estimated return to BHS
Saturday, 9/15 - West Point Band Day Performance - Full Marching Band
5:45am - Arrive at BHS in full uniform. Wear black band t-shirt underneath. Bring a bag lunch or money for lunch at concession stand. You may also bring breakfast/snacks on the bus. We will loading the buses directly and not be entering the school.
6:00am - Buses depart for West Point. We will wait for NO ONE!
7:15am - Arrive at West Point. We will rehearse with the West Point Band and other HS bands. Afterward, we will have time to explore the US Military Academy as a group, observe game day events and eat lunch.
12:00pm - Kickoff. The USMA Band Day performance will occur at halftime.
3:30pm - Estimated end of game. Approximately 30-60 minutes after the game, the buses will meet us at the stadium. We will load the buses and return to BHS.
6:00pm - Estimated arrival back at BHS. We will not enter the school upon arrival. Students will be instructed to call parents when we are 15-30 minutes away. Please pick them up promptly upon arrival.
Parents who wish to attend the performance may contact our representative at Army Athletics directly for tickets. Due to space constraints, transportation for all parents, friends and family is their own responsibility.
