North Jersey Band Festival @ Montclair TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE HERE!!!!
All participating band members are required to sell at least 2 tickets to participate.
2012 Band T-shirts are available to purchase for family and friends from the CHARMS STORE. The cost is $12.
Schedule for Week of 10/15 to 10/20
Monday, 10/15 - Thursday, 10/18 - Period 5 marching rehearsals
Wednesday after school, 10/17 - Priority Rehearsal
Friday, 10/19 - Rehearse as concert ensembles, periods 4, 5, 6
Weekly schedule subject to change due to weather - Check the band room daily
Friday, 10/19 - Pep Band only - Football vs. West Milford
5:15pm - Report to Band Room in full uniform
5:30pm - Buses depart for West Milford
6:30pm - Buses arrive in West Milford
7:00pm - Kickoff
9:30pm - Games ends/depart for BHS
10:30pm - Arrive at BHS/dismissal
Saturday, 10/20 - NJMEA State Band Festival at Wayne Hills HS
12:00pm - Report for rehearsal. Eat lunch prior to arrival
3:00pm - Rehearsal ends. Load trailer. Get dressed in uniform. Eat light snack. You may go home, if you wish but do not be late returning.
4:00pm - Dressed in full uniform with band t-shirt underneath. Check weather forecast for additional clothing.
4:15pm - Depart for Wayne Hills
5:00pm - Arrive at Wayne Hills. Line-up in pregame twos, no instruments. March to field. Watch first half of show. You may bring blankets, hats, scarves into stadium. Eat dinner by class. You may purchase food and drinks at the Wayne Hills snack stand (reasonable prices - very good food) or bring a bag dinner.
8:00pm - At trailer to get instruments.
8:15pm - Warmups
9:15pm - Move to staging area
9:30pm - At staging area
9:45pm - Performance time
10:30pm - Awards
11:00pm - Load trailer
11:30pm - Depart Wayne Hills
12:15am - Return to BHS/Dismissal (School will NOT be open)
