Schedule for Week of November 20, 2017
Monday, November 20 – No Monday evening rehearsals for remainder of season. 7AM morning rehearsal is canceled. Anyone who missed Saturday AM rehearsal must report for lunch meeting to cover what was missed.
Tuesday, November 21 - Report to main gym at 7pm to place busby and any marching band-only instruments or flags in the performance block. Attire for fall concert is full band uniform for all BHSMB members. Concert ensemble performances will be without hat and gloves. CG members will wear hats for concert ensemble performances.
Admission to the concert is free, but a non-perishable food item is the recommended donation. Cash donations are also accepted. Proceeds will go to the Bergenfield Food Pantry.
Wednesday, November 22 - No Wednesday BHSMB priority rehearsals scheduled for remainder of fall/winter season.
Tuesday, November 21 - Fall Concert at BHS at 7:30pm
Monday, November 27 – Band Dinner at the Clinton Inn - 6pm to 10pm (Optional, but payment due 11/20)
Bergenfield High School Marching Band 2017
Welcome to the 2017 BHSMB fall season. We are currently in the middle of a successful band camp, and we are ready for an exciting program this fall!
Practices for the fall are again on Monday evenings at RWB from 6:30-9:00pm and Wednesday afternoons at BHS from 3:15-6pm. The band also practices on Saturdays prior to performances. All practices and performances are considered mandatory and are a graded component of the marching band course. Any musician/athlete conflicts due to BHS athletic events must be communicated with Mr. Timmons immediately upon notification and well in advance. Please see Mr. Timmons or the Band Letter for further information.
The Band Letter is the best source of information for all scheduling information. It is extremely rare that any changes to the published schedule will occur during the season. Therefore, there is an expectation that ALL students attend ALL performances. Times, where currently TBD, will be announced as they are received from festival organizers.
In addition to the uniform provided by the school, all students are required to purchase a band t-shirt, white gloves and marching band shoes (not required for color guard). These items are purchased online by going to www.charmsoffice.com. The school code is BergenfieldMusic and the student area password is their student ID number, until they change it upon the first login. All 2017-18 BHS Music Department students are active in Charms now.

https://youtu.be/MccmWznnHZg Orders for marching band shoes must be completed by Wednesday, August 16 in order to receive shoes in time for the football game on Saturday, September 9. For 2017-18, the "Bill and Print" option has been disabled. All purchases must be made through PayPal.
